Designed to seamlessly integrate form and function, Kurtain Line offers exceptional sound absorption, powerful LED output, and extensive customization options—making it an ideal solution for commercial spaces where both acoustic control and high-output illumination are paramount. 

Crafted from eco-friendly, biodegradable wool, Kurtain Line delivers highly effective noise absorption and optimal visual comfort. The design builds on Luxxbox’s award-winning Kurtain pendant, celebrated for its flowing aesthetic, and integrates the advanced lighting technology of its Linea system to produce a harmonious fusion of acoustic performance and precise illumination.

“With Kurtain Line, we wanted to create a piece that would quiet a room while standing out visually,” said Jason Bird, Founder and Creative Director of Luxxbox. “It’s a sculptural solution for designers who care just as much about performance as they do aesthetics.”

Available in three sizes and a rich palette of 77 colors, Kurtain Line features class-leading dimmable LED lighting with options for direct and/or indirect wash. Multiple shielding options are available, including ultra-low UGR <5 on direct louvered output, as well as direct diffused and indirect lensed. The fixture is compatible with advanced controls, including Tunable White Output, Casambi Bluetooth, and POE, as well as other smart integrations. 

Kurtain Line is specifically designed for open-plan workspaces, collaborative zones, hospitality venues, and other large-scale commercial interiors where acoustic management and layered lighting schemes are essential for creating productive and comfortable environments.  Built to order in Luxxbox’s California-based facility, each fixture can be tailored with height-adjustable suspension, white or black woven power cords, white canopy options, and project-specific finishes. Comprehensive photometric files (IES/LDT) are also available to support lighting analysis and design integration.
