Acolyte has added side-illuminated Linea Edge RibbonLyte to its growing family of “chip on board” offerings.

 

The Static White Linea Edge RibbonLyte “chip on board” design is engineered with a special raised coating at the edge of our proprietary ribbon. This creates flexible, dot-free lines of white light with a top-bending function and side illumination. Optimal uses for Static White Linea Edge RibbonLyte include architectural accent lighting, backlighting for curved surfaces, installations under bars and counters, mirror edges and custom coves.

 

Static White Linea Edge RibbonLyte offers a tight pitch of 12 LED chips per inch (480 LEDs/m). Powered at 3 W/ft (9.8 W/m), it won’t show individual diodes in any of four dimmable CCTs ranging from 2700K to 6000K. Static White Linea Edge RibbonLyte offers light output of up to 189 lumens per foot (620 lm/m) with a 90+ CRI and tight cut lengths of 1.31 in. (33.3 mm). 

 

It is rated IP20 for interior use, delivering a 45° beam angle and a three-year warranty. 

 

Static White Linea Edge RibbonLyte joins Acolyte’s other “chip on board” offerings, Static White Linea RibbonLyte (3 wattages and 4 CCTs ranging from 2700K-4000K) and Variable White Linea RibbonLyte (tunable from 2700K-6500K).
